This page is the public Privacy Policy for https://davydovnebulaforgecommercellc.shop and for the Android application Vocabulary SRS (com.vocabulary.srs). GALLA TRADING LIMITED (“we”) is the controller for information we receive. App practices in the Vocabulary SRS sections take precedence over website statements where they conflict for that app.

1. Who we are

2. Vocabulary SRS (V1.0.0) — summary

Vocabulary SRS is a local-first personal study tool. You keep vocabulary decks on the phone, review due cards, and optionally practise spelling, quiz, or cloze. In V1.0.0:

• Core study does not require an account or sign-in.
• Decks, cards, SRS schedules, practice misses, starred lists, leeches, session history, and settings stay in app storage on your device.
• We do not operate a company cloud account for your cards or review progress.
• V1.0.0 does not include advertising or in-app purchases.
• Optional speech uses the system voice engine. V1.0.0 does not upload spoken audio to a company cloud.
• Optional study reminders are local, off by default, and can be turned off in Settings.
• JSON backup and CSV export / import are started by you through the system file picker. You choose where a file is saved or read.

Because card and schedule data remain on your device, we cannot remotely access, recover, or delete that local content from our servers.

3. Information stored on your device (App)

Depending on how you use Vocabulary SRS, the following may be stored locally:

• Decks: name, optional description, default study direction, built-in or custom flag
• Cards: word, definition, optional phonetic, example, mnemonic, tags, star and suspend status
• SRS records: stage (new / learning / review / mastered), due time, ease, interval, repetitions, lapses, and rating history used to schedule the next review
• Practice and lists: spelling / quiz / cloze results, wrong-word entries, leech flags, browse position
• Progress notes: daily-goal count, streak calendar marks, session summaries
• Preferences: theme, sound, haptics, TTS on/off, reminder time, session size and filters

You may also keep a built-in starter pack of study cards on the device. Cards you create or import are your content.

4. Information we do not collect through the App (V1.0.0)

Through Vocabulary SRS V1.0.0, we do not:

• Require you to create an account or sign in
• Collect or upload your decks, cards, or SRS progress to GALLA TRADING LIMITED servers
• Sell personal information
• Share app study content with advertisers or data brokers
• Include advertising or in-app purchase billing in this version
• Use the app as a social network, public classroom, or cloud sync service
• Upload spoken audio for cloud transcription in V1.0.0

If a later version adds accounts, cloud sync, advertising, analytics, or other collection, this Policy will be updated before that change is treated as in force.

5. App permissions and system features

A. Notifications (optional reminder)

If you turn on the study reminder, the app may ask the system for notification permission so a local nudge can appear at the hour you choose. Reminders are off by default and are not used for marketing.

B. Speech (optional TTS)

If you turn on “Speak word”, the app uses the device’s system voice engine. Study still works if TTS is unavailable. V1.0.0 does not upload voice to a company cloud.

C. Sound and haptics

Optional feedback on reveal or check stays on the device.

D. File picker (optional backup / import)

Export and import use the system picker. A JSON backup may include cards, tags, and SRS schedule. A CSV export may include word fields for one deck. Files leave the private app folder only when you choose a destination. Imports stay on that device after you confirm the preview.

E. Device / OS backup

If you enable the operating system’s own backup or restore features, that provider may copy local app data under its rules. That is not an upload we start from company servers.

6. Website — information we receive

If you write to the printed address or send email to aleksei@davydovnebulaforgecommercellc.shop or support@vocabularysrs.app, we receive the name, organisation, contact details, and message you choose to include. This site has no postable form.

Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address and browser data when a page is opened. The website host may log IP address, browser type, and access time for security and uptime. These website practices do not apply to Vocabulary SRS local study data, which is not uploaded to us in V1.0.0.

7. Website analytics and advertising

This website does not currently embed third-party advertising SDKs, analytics tags, or advertising pixels. Vocabulary SRS V1.0.0 does not include advertising. If that changes, this Policy will be updated first.

8. Cookies

See the Cookie Notice. Only technically necessary storage that hosting or the browser may require may be used. Non-essential tracking is not enabled. Vocabulary SRS local storage is app storage on the phone, not a website cookie.

9. How we use information

App (V1.0.0): local data is used only to provide study features on your device (queues, ratings, practice, lists, settings, reminders, and files you export). We do not use that local content for advertising or profiling, because it is not sent to us.

Website / email: to reply to enquiries and support requests, keep ordinary business records, and meet legal duties.

10. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Vocabulary SRS card and schedule content is not transmitted to us in V1.0.0, so we do not share that content with third parties. For website or email contact, we may share information when required by law, to protect the company and its users, or as needed for hosting. Google may receive limited technical data when Fonts are requested.

11. Retention and deletion

App local data remains until you delete a card or deck, use Clear study data, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling generally removes the app’s private local data from that device. A failed local save stays on the device; you can retry or discard that change in the app.

Website / email records are kept only as long as needed for those purposes or legal requirements.

12. Security

V1.0.0 is designed so study content stays on your device. Please protect the phone with a screen lock. Reasonable safeguards are used for email we receive. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

13. Your rights

Under applicable United Kingdom data-protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal data we hold about you (for example, emails you sent us), and you may object to certain processing. You may complain to the ICO. For on-device Vocabulary SRS data, use Clear study data, delete cards, or uninstall — we cannot access that local content from our servers. 14. Children

This website and Vocabulary SRS are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app or the site. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

15. International visitors

Information you send us may be processed in the United Kingdom. Website hosting or Fonts requests may involve processing outside the UK; where required, appropriate safeguards are used. Vocabulary SRS V1.0.0 does not send your decks or review progress to company servers.

16. Changes

Updates are posted on this page with a revised date. Material changes for a new app version (for example accounts, cloud sync, advertising, or analytics) will be described for that version before they are treated as in force.
